I mentioned <a href="http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html"> Super Video Encoder</a> on another thread , but I see that "someperson" was already in the know about this fantastic encoder. Good shout someperson111 ! STOIK is still my favourite AVI to wmv encoder , but SUPER Convertor seems to take care of everything else with the added bonus that it's very easy to use. Al

Ha! I did notice that the sound and video were out of sync on a rendered wmv file - to be fair though it does say that the wmv encoding is "Experimental" I notice that it is also possible to render reverse video using one of the direct show options - there always seems to be people asking how to do that on this forum. Thought I'd post this. I've been playing around with superconverter a little bit more converting clips from a <b>PAL</b> dvd and converting to wmv. The Audio/video sync problems seem to have gone away :-) <a href="http://img78.imageshack.us/img78/8122/screenhunter23sa.jpg">Here</a> is a screen capture of settings I have used. I'm not suggesting these are definitive settings to use , but I'm more than happy with the resultant wmv video. I really do like this software ! Al

Hi I think that is one of my transition sets you are referring to. Remove the xml you have created and then download and extract transition set 4 from <a href="http://www.hitthebongo.co.uk/videofx/2005/09/transition-effects.html">Here</a> It includes everything you need Al

Baseballus...I'm guessing that you don't have the correct compression setting set in virtual dub to create a compressed DV-AVI file. My guess is that you may be saving it as an uncompressed file...PapaJohn saves his files using the Panasonic DV codec but this may not appear on everybodys system including yours - It may need to be installed seperately An alternative compression method you could try is compressing the file as a wmv encoded avi file. I have a little guide that gives a few ...

The three panel effect is possible using either some customised PIP+ code or using an Aviscript. I'm not sure which method you are preferring to use. I'll leave it to the PIP+ experts to detail the code for what your after as I'm really rusty on it now. For the aviscript method however I can help as I already have several scriopts published thad do exactly the kind of thing you're requesting. It can be found by clicking on <a ...
