| Does the program crash?
How much memory do you have in your PC? MovieMaker (Video editing in general) is very memory intensive especially when applying effects. |

| You'll need to convert the file from M2P to AVI or WMV prior to importing it to Windows Movie Maker.
Search your favorite engine for "Convert M2P to AVI".

| I believe theres an option in this program that will allow you to disable or remove start up programs. <a href="http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx">Microsoft Anti Spyware tool</a>

The problem with a video tutorial is that most need to find how to do a specific task and having to watch ten minutes of video for the 10 seconds of what interests you is lame. We live in a hustle bustle world.
