I've been using MyDVD for a long time now and have had great success creating DVDs from Movie Maker.

Movie Maker doesn't import QuickTime. If you have the option I would use another camera that outputs AVI clips. QuickTime is a format created by Apple Computer and I'm sure there's a bunch of legal stuff if Movie Maker wanted to handle those file types. Some Cameras, my Sony for example, output clips to MPEG and they work fine. BUT, I've heard that some users have problems importing MPEGs too. There are programs that will convert QuickTime to AVI. Check out the forums at <a href="http://www.videohelp.com/forum/">VideoHelp.com</a>. They straightend me out. I had a problem transcoding and we found out that is was my DVD burner. I returned it to Comp USA for another one and had no more issues. Good luck

That's very nice John. Did you hire someone to do the voice over, or is that your voice. If so you may want to consider a 2nd career in radio.

My Sony TRV camera will not get recognized by Windows XP unless I install the camera drivers that came on the Sony CD. I haven't tried it via FireWire, only USB so far.
