RehanTFX registration fail 3/11/2015 12:26:18 PM   (Total replies: 0)
I sent Rehan an email explaining my problem and would like to share it here in case someone else has the answer. The email: I'm so sorry to bother you but I'm having trouble registering your ShaderTFX on my new computer. I'm now running Win 8.1. I downloaded and installed the new TFX - ShaderTFX version 1.1.045 (Beta release for 64 bit) plus the DirectX and opened MM6. When I hit the Ctrl-Shift clicking on any ShaderTFX transition or effect icon as instructed a registration box came up ...

I'm not sure if this is where I need to ask this. I've searched but couldn't find out if I can install the Movie Maker 6 (Vista) and the many transitions and effects on the new laptop I'm getting. It has the Windows 8.1 on it. I prefer the Vista MM and if I can't use it on the new laptop, I guess I'll have to find something else that's easy enough for me to use but I really hate to lose MM6.

I'm sorry, I found my answer. I apparently didn't search deep enough before posting my question.

Blaine, help PLEASE 5/6/2011 8:51:18 PM   (Total replies: 1)
I just got my new HP running. I have Win7 and installed the Vista Movie Maker 6 (64-bit) on it. All was fine until I tried to download and install your transitions, etc. I attempted to save them on my hard drive when the installer got Norton Internet Security going bonkers and not allowing it to install NOR allow me to save it. I thought I could save it, disconnect from the internet, turn off the Norton Internet Security program and have at it but I simple can't. It came up with a wondo ...

How dare you even imply doing such a thing. Rehan puts so much of his knowledge and time in to creating these and you want to do such a thing? It's not like he asks a lot to register his work. Geez!!

Have you checked Audacity? You can copy and paste into a new file. Not sure if I explained that right. My mind isn't on what I'm doing. We're having a new Heat-A/C unit installed and it's mighty noisy. I used to us another high priced program (out dated now) for this but Audacity is great for what you want and it's free.

Adorage for MM6 4/24/2011 5:14:59 PM   (Total replies: 1)
I had purchased Element 5 back in 2007 when I was using the older version of MM. I'm now running Win 7 w/MM6 and was wondering if anyone knows if there are updates to ProDAD elements to use in MM6.
