Rehan's ShaderTFX - Installation Problem 8/19/2010 6:18:44 PM   (Total replies: 2)
I have Windows 7 64 Bit Operating System and have installed Windows Movie Maker 6.0. I tested the program and published an HD movie. All worked great. I wanted to add Rehan's ShaderTFX and went to his website and downloaded the 64 bit beta file. After I downloaded the file and opened WMM and did not see Rehan's ShaderTFX in effects or transitions. I looked on my computer and noticed that the AddonTFX file was not in the shared file folder in the Program Files (x86)/MovieMaker/Shared folder. So ...

Neophyte, Thank you for your reply. I should have mentioned that before. I did download the 64-bit version of Windows Movie Maker. Can you think of anything else that could be causing the ShaderTFX effects and transition not to work? The transitions only show a fade and the effects just show a black screen. Again, thanks for all your help. Kelly

They are there and I only copied the AddOnTFX folder. I kept the original folder there. Kelly

Rehan replied to my email, and suggested the following. Obviously somebody is providing bad or rather incomplete installation files! Please delete the Windows Movie Maker folder from “C:\Program Files (x86)\”. Or if you like… preseve the AddOnTFX folder in a zip. Afterwards get the 64 bit version of Windows Movie Maker 6.x from the following site: http://movies.blainesville.com/2010/05/installing-windows-movie-maker-60-on.html The Movie Maker should be 64 bit and should be ...

Grapemanca, My computer is a Hewlett Packard HPe9270f, 64 Bit Operating System with 8 Gig of Ram and uses Windows 7 Home operating software. I downloaded your WMM file originally on my computer and everything worked great. I saw the HD profiles and was able to publish a HD show. However, I went to download ShaderTFX transitions and effects and they did not work. I saw the icons for the different transitions - but they would only do a fade effect, even though the icon says it is a ...

WMM 6.0 Blaine's Movie Maker Blog 8/23/2010 3:07:53 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Blaine, I downloaded WMM from your website and WMM works fine on my computer. I use a Windows 7, 64 Bit computer. However, I did not see any HD profiles when I downloaded your version. I originally downloaded WMM from Grapemanca's website, with the HD profiles, but his version did not work with ShaderTFX effects. Your version does, but I do not see any way to publish HD movies. With your version of WMM, are there any HD profiles to burn HD movies? Kelly

Has anyone downloaded WMM from Blaine's Movie Maker Blog. I don't seem to see and HD settings when you go to publish a movie to computer. There are no HD profiles under "More Settings." Are there any HD settings available? Kelly
