Hello PH, I use Win 8.1 and used Blaine's WMM6 64 bit from his blog: http://movies.blainesville.com/2010/05/installing-windows-movie-maker-60-on.html It may work on 10 as well. Cheers - Jem

Sub titles for this slide show (or should I call it a video) are Everyman' and 'Before and After' Everyman is the anonymous figure representing the ordinary male And the before and after the images in the slide show, the before being the image before the figure was montaged into it. We went to the Yorkshire Sculpture Park thinking it was a farm with a few statues it isn't, there are 500 acres and some monumental as well some more intimate works on show. On our second visit I began ...

Re: Is it worth the trouble to learn v16.4 11/8/2015 9:44:59 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Hello Selwyn, I began with 16 and found it very easy to use it did everything I wanted in a slide show until .... I realised that the crossfades are just 2 secs long, you can type in longer ones .. but .. you have to take out the slide to 30 secs to get a 4 sec crossfade. I did have to darken my images a little as the video file was too light, but that has stopped now I have Ver. 16.4.3528.0331 Eventually I found my way here and downloaded 6 and I can now make superbly slow ...

Hi Selwyn, Just looking at 16 now after using 6 for a few weeks I would say 6 is easier to use, i.e. to lengthen a slide show frame you have to go to a drop down in 16 whereas in 6 just grab it with the mouse and drag it. I prefer the 6 method it feels easier to me. 16 does everything that 6 will do (except for the long crossfades) but in a slightly different way, both are very good, why not learn both and make your choice learning 16 is no big deal. Here's my effort in 6, another ...

Image sizes in pixels advice please 10/28/2015 5:53:23 AM   (Total replies: 0)
Hello all, I've tried all sorts of slide show software and failed with it, until CG suggested I use WMM 6.0 which does everything I want to do and more, I had no idea it was so good especially after failing with WLMM. I would like to ask a question about sizes, I use a 4/3 format and I found that by reducing my pics to 1440 x 1080 myself rather than letting the slide show program do it I got a better result. Would those more experienced that me agree or do they use another ...
