3 Tricks to Movie Maker which are very helpful 7/25/2014 1:38:31 AM   (Total replies: 1)
1. If you want both narration and music: Save the movie as a .WMV video file with either the narration or music, then start a new WMM project, import the movie you just saved into the new project and then add the narration or music to the now empty music/narration track. Finally, resave the movie again with all the audio.

2. Break your episode down into shorter clips you want to use: There's a nifty program called Any Video Converter, use that. 3. Use the timeline editing mode instead of the WMM mode. It is better and makes it much easier to match your footage to the beats of the music.

I have begun work on a short movie which would be like a collage of all our family pictures put together - starting from my childhood, then my growing up years and the same for my husband and then how we eventually met, our wedding, babies... so on and so forth. Just need to work on the background music part though.
