Re: Loss Of Quility When I Edit In Movie Maker 10/9/2016 12:19:15 AM   (Total replies: 1)
Witch Movie Maker version are you running? Are you certain it is not just only the preview video render that could be selecting internaly the wrong/failsafe wmv codec for playback of the preview window? What I mean is, have you tested to publish (render) the work, with high bitrate, HD resolution and frames pr. second (Interlaced/Progressive) and then checked the final result in Windows Media Player? :) My Vista 6.0 (has lots of tweaks and modding files) sometimes acts the same way you ...

Re: Any Way to Darken the WMM Workspace (6.0 Vista)? 11/27/2016 1:40:08 AM   (Total replies: 0)
Moviemaker's GUI is defined in .dll files in Moviemaker program folder. Use a free editor like ResHacker.exe to open the dll's and replace BMP, JPG and PNG with your own modified picturefiles of darker skin color. But I'm uncertain if all parts of the workspace is defined in picture files. The rest of the colors is probably defined by code like RGB values somewhere in some of the DLL files or system files. I would look trough the registry settings for the program too ;) Hope this helps giving ...

GREENSCREEN FIX SOLUTION (solves the flickering/blinking bug) 11/4/2016 4:12:03 PM   (Total replies: 0)
(ONLY MovieMaker 6.0 for Vista!) The DPL plugin "DPL ChromaKey Prep FX" always solves the random accuring blinking/flickering bug when creating Greenscreen/Chroma key overlays with the RehanFX Shader-fx (Greenscreen/Bluescreen) plugin. Just add the "DPL CKPrep Letterbox" effect to the clip you want to blend with your chromakey clip as the first effect in the list. Removes the blinking problem every time! The DPL effect are STILL AVAILABLE on the net using the web archive services. ...

Re: greenscreen help please! 9/19/2016 6:55:31 PM   (Total replies: 0)
Great answer to a important problem!! :) Actually, the "another workaround" tip/trick is maybye THE BEST and most important userguide when using RehanFX's - Chroma Plugin. When you want to create a decent usable green screen overlay in one turn! And the only way to eliminate the annoying milliseconds of artifacts at the end of each overlay scene. If only there was a similar guide to solve the flickering/blinking bug of the same RehanFX's Shader Pack. Wich seems to appear in the most ...

What happend to PatrickL / Pleabo? 7/17/2016 7:16:52 PM   (Total replies: 1)
Hi! Im new to this forum but has been a movie maker for many years. I'm trying to get a hold of the DPL plugins by PatrickL / Pleabo but all the links are dead. His homepage is down and his Vimeo channel has rather old post about now.... So does anyone know the status of both him and where I can get a hold of the DPL Moving Overlays installation files for Vmm 6.0 for Vista? If another user in this forum feel like sharing his/hers copy of the files I would be very thankful! :) Anyways, ...
