I created clips, how can I save them individually? 3/23/2017 8:01:51 AM   (Total replies: 1)
So I created a bunch of clips to make a video. I have 4 I didn't use but may want to use in the future, how do I save them from 2012 movie maker so I have them and don't have to edit from the raw file again?

I have the entire video in Movie Maker, can't see where I can save just a smaller clip from that?

well I figured out a way. Save the project, then go and delete all the clips I was actually using on my video, then save the extra clips to a different name, then reload the video and remove the extra clips.

I use Windows Movie Maker on my Vista PC a lot. I find it very easy to use. The problem is, when I play my work while editing, there are these endless delays that make it almost impossible to use. What I'd like to know is, what movie making program is there out there that is as easy to use as Windows Movie Maker that won't have this issue? I can afford to upgrade substantially.

My pc is pretty powerful. What kind of specs do you think it would take to eliminate this problem ?

I'm actually looking for a better movie maker at this point. I love my Movie Maker Vista for how easily it works, except when I try to watch my work as I edit, it keeps getting stuck. I don't suppose there's a way around this problem or a trick, is there ?
