Chapters in WMM in w XP?

| Hello.
Is it right that it is not possible to make chapters in a dvd with windows XP? (only possible in w Vista)
Please give a simple answer because my english is not so good.

| Thanks for your answer.
1) So I have to finish my film in WMM( inclusive the sound etc) and afther I have finished the project (do I get a.avi ?) I have to go to my DVD making software.
2) Is there a freeware DVD making software program that I can use to make chapters?

| Hello. Please keap your answer simple. My english is not so good.
My question......
I have a lot of clips in my project. It is a film from Auswitsch. Most of the time there is no sound and sometimes you can hear in a few clips the gide who tells something. I want to keep that. And a few clips have sound (traffic etc) and i wil remove that.
I want to insert a music (classic style) during the hole film. (I know how to do that)
But..................
1) How can I remove the sound off 1 clip ... |

Please, keep your answer easy. my english is not so good.
I know how to insert a title before a clip. But the time of that title is to short for me. It takes now 5 sec and i want to have at least 10 sec for explaining something. How can i make this time longer.

Problems afther cutting a piece of film.

| Hello.
I am Dutch and I hope that everything will be clear what I tell here. My own first recorded video gives me a good result, after working with WMM. But my second movie shows difficulties. After I have removed a piece of film, the film will no longer continue in the screen of wmm. He will no continues to play. He stand still in the option --- pause --- and will no go into play. But, when I immediately after the cut make an effect, then is everything oke and can I go from pause to play. ... |
