Trouble With Animated Gifs

I am having trouble with animated GIFS...every time i upload an animated GIF the picture freezes and the time on it is 24:00 and i think it`s showing up as a clip, can someone please help me on this. thanks..

I don't think MM will support animated GIFs.

Hopefully, somebody else will corroborate this.

MM does support animated GIFS, i just cant get them to work. i read a topic on this earlier but i didnt understand what it wanted me to do.

People do it with Pivot all the time!

I have no trouble with animated gifs, they work just like a picture file I can streach them to any length I want. Are you importing them as a video clip? Try importing like you would a picture.

Under "Tasks > Capture Video > Import Pictures". Sellect 'inport pictures' find you GIF, once imported, drag into the time line. Once it's on there (the timeline not the story board) you can mallipulate it by 'selecting' and moveing the right edge to the right to increase the time lenghth the GIF will play. I think it still works even if you import it like a video, but you can't streach a regular video's length only the GIF's.

Hi!
Blackout may be you should another way to create GIF?

Personally I convert video files to animated GIF. And I haven't problems with GIF after that. :)

I use special soft - "video avatar" at geovid. Well may be I'm wrong but it can help... Don't know. :P

i may be just a n00b but i think that you import the gif into collections,then just drag and drop on to the panel.
