Leave off the <html> </html> tags and also, use double quotes " around your URL.

You can change the color of text using the code above. Remove the first space. Or if you mean, can you change the color of a link, you cannot. The forum software always shows links automatically in the same blue color.

I don't think you can change the text colour I've never seen anyone do it.

People are having problems seeing thew coloured text with Firefox unfortunatly Internet Explorer sseems to work.

Hey I'm using a different computer that the one I usually have and it's Windows 98 with internet explorer and I can see the colored posts. YAAHHHHH but unfortunatly I will have to change to my other computer soon.

I find that using <a href="http://www.windowsmoviemakers.net/Forums/AddPost.aspx?PostID=37470&mode=flat">
works better than view post 37470 for veiwing posts because it opens a new window so you don't lose what you were doing.

Note: I seem to have found a way to post the exact code you have to type to hyperlink without turning it into a link by typeing the hyperlinking text as the text to color with the <color= tagSmiley.
