Windows Media Configuration Manager
Posted: 14 Feb 2019 09:17 PM
Hello,

I am running the Windows Movie Maker 6.0 (64-bit) from here (https://movies.blainesville.com/p/wmm-60-on-windows-7.html) on my x64 Dell Inspiron 5570 laptop. My OS is Microsoft Windows 10 Home. Every time I open the program, I get a Windows Media Configuration Manager popup that says, "An unexpected error has occurred. Setup was not able to detect any Windows Media updates. Please try again later." I can close out of the popup and use the program like normal; I'm just getting tired of having to close it every time I open WMM. I've used WMM for 16 years, on a desktop and 3 different laptops, 2.0 and 6.0, on XP, Vista, and 7, and I've never encountered this popup before. Anyone have any idea how to get rid of it?

Thank you!
