Bad resolution on movie uploaded to a forum site
Posted: 18 Apr 2012 12:42 AM
I recently won a Kodak mini video recorder on a cooking forum and made a video on it to upload to the site. I took the 4 different sections and put them together on Movie Maker (never used it before) and was very happy with the result that played on my computer. The 4 sections totaled 170MBs and when I saved it to one of the options it reduced to 35MBs and it still played well. I uploaded it and the resolution was terrible. So I used another option that gave it to me at 80MBs and on uploading it looks exactly the same!! The maximum I can upload is 100MBs. I am using Windows XP. The camera recorded the files as .AVI files and Movie Maker converted them to a .wmv. I'd love a suggestion on how I can get a good resolution using this application for under 100MBs.
