Blurred photos
Posted: 08 Feb 2011 02:43 PM
I dont know if i am in the right category here, but here goes. I made a movie utilizing Windows Movie Maker, but it was actually a photo show with musical background, in other words a movie made up of photographs with a soundtrack.

I publilshed it to the web with Mdeo and the soundtrack played perfect but the pics were blurred. I was wondering what causes this and if the size of the photos have a bearing on this, if they need to be compressed, or enlarged(which would only add to the blurring effect)

Regards

Wayne f

Were the pictures in the movie you saved/published to your computer using Movie Maker blurred? If they were, what was the resolution of the original images and what settings did you use when saving/publishing your movie?

I think i may have self-helped myself with the problem. the original pictures were photo quality, but I noticed on Mydeo settings that it indicated that speed must be at least 70 kbps on a broadband connection and i only have dial-up with maximum speed of 45.2 kbps, so this may be the problem insofar as streaming is concerned. But when I was saving the original movie and trying to publish it, there was a section that indicated "allowing streaming" and i may have to look into that option. Thanks for your help in this matter.

Another thing when i watch the movie on skin mode, the pics dont take up the full screen and are in odd places as if they are not large enough for the screen. If you want to see what i mean here is the link
