How do you create custom effects (like a emboss effect), skins, and visualizations for Windows Media Player 11? That would be really cool! I want to make something like a fire effect, with smoke billowing out for a transition.

Love it.

I'm new to this site so not sure if I can ask this question here? But I've made a couple of videos and I always stay 10min or less but the last video I made went way over and I've edited but its still to long. Does anyone know how I can make it into a 2 part video?

LadyCindy - welcome to the forums.

Assuming you're using a compatible file type and you have version 6.0 or below of Movie Maker, import your movie into a new Movie Maker project (post back if your movie is divided into multiple clips when you import it) and then play your movie from the Collections area. Stop the playing of the movie at the point where you want to divide it into two parts. Then go to the "Clip" menu and click on "Split" or click on the slpit button below the preview pane. That should break your movie up into two pieces. Add the first piece to the timeline/storyboard and then save/publish this as a movie. Delete the first piece on the timeline/storyboard and then add the second piece to the timeline/storyboard and then save/publish this as your second movie.
