Can a digi pic frame be used with WMM and how do we change format (Free)

| We have made a movie with wmm and cannot get it to play correctly on digital photo frame, ie sound & voice over over do not play. Understand we need to change the format to an MP4 or other. Has anyone done this and if so we would welcome any tips. Thanks |

Welcome to the forums.
Try using SUPER (it's a free download) to convert your movies to MP4 format. See this page for download instructions (as erightsoft doesn't provide a direct download link for it) and see the "Use a Given Converter" item on desilucy's "How Do I"? page for step-by-step instructions on using SUPER. |

| Thanks for your help, My friend Has managed to load onto her photo frame but has a water mark running through parts of it, maybe we have to purchase a "Paid for " version of the file transfer software, or ? |

| SUPER is free and does not place a watermark on the converted video. It sounds like your freind downloaded one of the other converters that's adverised on the erightsoft website and which place a watermark on the converted video. Try downloading SUPER again following download instructions from the link in my previous post. |

| Thank you Neophyte, Ah, it was AVS. we tried again to find the link to download Super C but kept getting other sites open (think ads by google kept placing them in) my friend managed to convert two files but one with music and effects would could not be put into the box to transfer, "file Error" message appeared. Looking for more links to supper C on google, a few reports of virus and spy ware for supper c came up, so she was worried to keep looking for it. Maybe we can search for the download again, but why so difficult to find ? |

I've never understood why erightsoft makes it so difficult to get to the download link for SUPER; but, I assume there's a "method to their madness".
I would concentrate on following the instructions provied by erightsoft in the link I provided rather than doing a Google search and downloading it from another site (as that limits the likelihood you might get a copy with some type of malware/spyware). |

| At last we used super and chose a few different options as to where to save (outlook folder destination) ie MPEG, MP1, 2 etc and chose correct formats for sound and vision that the photo frame supports but still will not play. Sometimes we get an error message when it tries to convert and other times it seems to have converted OK, but not play. Think it is the format we are choosing to convert to but have tried most of the options. On the movie clip there are pictures, transitions, and music. Don't know where to go next, as it plays OK in MWMM, but not on the photo frame or windows media player etc. |

If you have a short clip you wouldn't mind sharing with me, upload it to MediaFire and I'll download it and see if I can come up with a converter and settings that work. If you decide to do that, post the download link for the file back here or use the "Contact Me" page on my website to send me the link.
Also, let me know what file formats the picture frame supports. |

Hi, thanks for your offer. i think my friend has sent the info to you. She was a little worried as she is doing it for her mum who wants it as a surprise present for her boss. Thank you for helping her, she's a lovely girl and a little sad at not being able to complete the conversion herself, though i think she has done well to get this far.

Don't know where to go next, as it plays OK in MWMM, but not on the photo frame or windows media player etc.
This bit sounds to me like you may only have saved the project file, which would play fine in MM but not anywhere else.
YOu need to save the movie file Ctrl + P or file > save movie file.

Hi Both, My friend has managed to get it to work to a degree and is happy at that. This is what she said "I've done it. Not exactly how she wants it but enough. just Pictures, pictures not in order (the way she took them) but with music, Music on its own or video with words but no music"
Don't think I can get her to do any more at the moment, but thanks to your help she has got this far, which is a lot further than she would have done without you. Thank you so much !
