Creating a Shadow

I would like to film myself and then turn that video into a completely black image of me so that it looks like my shadow. Any thoughts on how I could do this?

I could keep reducing the brightness on the video, but that reduces the brightness for the entire frame. I end up with just a video of black.

take a quickshot of yourself and cut yourself out in windows paint or photoshop and put it in a solid color(blue or green would be best anything that your not wearing) background. then use chroma keyer(if you have XP you should go to the XP transitions or if you have Vista go to the Vista transitions

...boo
