was is the best way to get a vob file onto windows movie maker???...please help

However, if you want to open VOB files in Windows Movie Maker, then you will be disappointed with the result that VOB files are not compatible with Windows Movie Maker at all.<br><br>To get VOB files work in Windows Movie Maker, you have to first convert VOB to supported media formats like WMV, AVI, ASF, etc. To get the work done, a video conversion program is undoubtedly needed.

I suggest you convert VOB files to Windows Movie maker compatible i.g.WMV formats via a third party video converter
