No you just won't have all the features it came with such as image-wipes. (Transitions that use images or effects that use images)

After spending some time with someone over email having problems with ShaderTFX, here is a fix that should help anyone getting fades after installing ShaderTFX.

1. There are two installers, make sure you are installing the correct version of ShaderTFX.
2. This installer is only for Movie Maker 6.0 on Windows Vista. However if you use Movie Maker 6.0 on Windows 7, ShaderTFX will still work. I confirm it working on Windows 7 32-bit, 64-bit should work as well.

I cant remove the link, cause i cant edit my post. Is there any other way to remove the link? I also dont understand, this ISO unpacks the same thing yours does, and when i used it everything worked fine, i will take the file off the upload site though. I guess my help only made things worse. Sorry.

I also cant remove the file because i didnt save the link, that deletes it. Also on this website you dont need an account to upload files, so i doesnt keep track of the files you've uploaded So i cant remove the file off the web =(. But for the veiwers, please do not use my link from my earlier post in this thread (2nd post) Once again please dont use my link.

sisteralways and pandahut101,

I have been able to download and install this no prob, im on a 32-bit, acer laptop, windows vista home premium. Here is some things you can try doing.

Run Iexplore as "administrator" when you download the file run that as administrator too. Also make sure your the admin on your comp.

Another thing you can try is using mozzila (run it as administrator) and download the file and try it again.

All i know is that when i use the installation i made, it unpacks the files chosen (that you made) i chose to install it to "addontfx" when i do all the xmls and dlls are there and everything works. So im not sure, sorry for making things worse, has anyone else got this to work, also did my instructions on how to fix this help? Ask me any questions if you need to or let me know if you need help, i think i better just leave this problem ...

Ok heres one that ive noticed. (On my computer anyways) Very impressive installer, if you choose the destination where to install it, it installs the pictures, shader.fx, and a rehanfx.dll if im not correct. It will still install the xml's to addontfx. Now i understand what blaine was trying to tell me. (I think lol) I think i almost have this probelm resolved.

Ok ive made an iso that will unpack the xml and dll files rehan made. In the ISO file i credited it to rehan and used the icon as picture on the background. Here is the link to download it. You can choose where to download it, like download it do desktop then move it to C:\program files\movie maker\shared\AddOnTFX or install it directly there. If you run into problems i reccomend downloading it to desktop then moving it to addontfx. Heres the link

The transition works, just no color. Also i tried sending the xmls to hitthebongo, but whenever i attatch it, i get an email back saying theres an error =/.

Ok i have a batch file that will grant full permission on files/folders. It has been tested and works. 1 problem though. When trying to grant full permission on "Program files" it will say "Invalid Parameter" Files. The batch file wont read if there is spaces ><. Ive tried %programfiles% but same thing. Any suggestions? By the way. Once using this batch file should fix the problems with the installers, aslo its an easy file to use, just open it and wait for it ...
