What software are you using to burn the DVD?
Make sure you are burning from a video file...and not trying to burn the project file.

Haven't heard of it...so it probably isn't...even some .avi files (which is also a container file) won't work.

it may be the mpeg files....mpeg 2 files don't work well at all in MM. You need to convert all of your video files to .avi or .wmv before bringing them into MM. Let us know how it works.

Also remember...just closing other programs that you see running...isn't closing all programs running in the background...do a CTRL/ALT/DEL to bring up "Task Manager"...close all programs and "processes" that do not belong to your "Windows System"....if in doubt...leave them alone. (but, for future reference...try to learn what all of those programs and processes do so that you will know if you can close them or not.)
Glad you like our little ...

After you pull the clip into MM and place it on the timeline...follow the steps like you would be saving it to a movie file...but select saving it as a .wma (audio file)

you could take the clip into a paint program frame by frame and colorize the item...labor intensive and very time consuming....there are expensive programs that the pros in Hollywood use to set an item and track it with a filter......

are you using any mp3 audio files...if so....convert to .wma or .wav.
If you used a lot of transitions or effects in your project...you might try deviding up your project into a couple of smaller sections....saving as movies files...and then putting them all back together for one big save.
Make sure you reboot before each edit session and you close all prorgrams and processes running in the background...close from Task Manager...but, don't close any of the ...

Oh well, it was worth a try....I guess I'll have to blow up Bigfish's kitchen myself....lol.
I'll keep an eye out for something with sharp edges. Why do we say..."keep an eye out"???
Looks like that would not only not look very good...but seems like it would hurt? hmmmm

DLK...here's a couple of foggy type clips I made for you to try out. One was originally a dust storm...but I changed the color(I just figured out how to do that)
and slowed it down a hair so it would look more foggy.
