I think that is one of my transition sets you are referring to. Remove the xml you have created and then download and extract transition set 4 from Here
It includes everything you need

Baseballus...I'm guessing that you don't have the correct compression setting set in virtual dub to create a compressed DV-AVI file. My guess is that you may be saving it as an uncompressed file...PapaJohn saves his files using the Panasonic DV codec but this may not appear on everybodys system including yours - It may need to be installed seperately
An alternative compression method you could try is compressing the file as a wmv encoded avi file. I have a little guide that ...

The three panel effect is possible using either some customised PIP+ code or using an Aviscript. I'm not sure which method you are preferring to use.
I'll leave it to the PIP+ experts to detail the code for what your after as I'm really rusty on it now.
For the aviscript method however I can help as I already have several scriopts published thad do exactly the kind of thing you're requesting. It can be found by clicking on

I've focussed on a very small aspect of what can be achieved with pip plus but you guys are demonstrating some wonderful uses. Some much to learn and take in !

Hi all. Long time since I posted on here. Anyone who has visited my site in recent times will know that it has pretty much been in an archive form for quite a long time with no worthwhile updates for a good couple of years. This is never good for a web-site. I was happy however to keep it ticking over in archive form as people were still visiting but I have just had the rug pulled from under my feet over reported bandwidth issues and the account has been suspended by my web-host. There might be ...

Webhost just got back to me stating that they are going to de-suspend me so site should be up and running in next 24 hours. I still do not understand what the root issue is but that is another story.
The experience has been a wake-up call however in that I really should get my stuff properly archived should the same problem ever repeat itself

I would love to find a place to archive the WMM 6.0 variations that I've seen of your items
That is fine by me :-)
www.hitthebongo.co.uk looks to be back to normal now.

I had an email yesterday enquiring about getting some of my transitions to work in vista movie maker. Needless to say I'm very grateful to MMK for having done these conversions.
My site has been neglected for a while now but I want to try and make it alive again as soon as I get some spare time. I'll make sure that my very first task is linking to MMK's excellent site (I love the really clean and neat design BTW)

After following TheOnePb's suggestion , if that doesn't yield results you might have a file path issue in which case the xml may need modifying.
I don't know if the vista version of moviemaker allows relative file paths and if MMK's xml conversions make use of them. If they don't you may be suffering from the same issue that a few XP users suffer from. The following link is XP specific but may also apply to Vista users if the file path given for the transition ...

DLK - I like the stuff you've come up with. I think we have simmilar ideas. I'd strongly suggest you upload your images to a free blog or website to share.

Dave - It's got to be done !
creating the blog and posting to it is easy - probably on a par to posting on a forum. The only bit that's a bit more challenging is modifying the template to your exact requirements such as column widths, link fields and that kind of thing. It just involves modifying some html.
I've got a website that I've published to in the traditional way of creating the HTML in a wysiwyg editor (I use the free NVU) and then publishing via FTP. ...

IF you do go via Google bloggers route and IF you decide to post using Picasas Hello - here's a couple of tips you may want to take on board:
If you wish to post multiple images in a single post with hello you need to finish your text sentence with "||" ( bottom left key - ignore the speech marks.) for instance you may decide to post a pic and decide to add the text "Picture 1||"
This will queue the picture . Repeat the process several times until ...

bpcervantes, is your system disk C:?
If it's another letter you may have to edit the XML since it assumes C:
That is the most likely cause - especially if you find that one of my custom image overlay titles works perfectly (such as this one) and the transitions don't. The reason for this is that custom titles use relative file paths to an associated image overlay that are ...

5374 BFX_MONTAGE3x3transitions.dll, www.hitthebongo.co.uk
Brilliant work Blaine ! This will save me and others a lot of headaches by having a reference source and reducing the chances of conflict. It definitely needs to be pinned somewhere.
