2. You will need a DVD or CD writer.
3. You will need CD or DVD creation software. Usually this will come with the writer but I recommend MyDvD since it handles Windows Media files .wmv .
Once you have all of these tools you should be able to create DVD's/CD's from your existing media. Or use Windows Movie ... |

You can also buy DVD Label kits and use your printer to create custom DVD / CD labels and case covers.

Many years ago in Scotland, a new game was invented. It was ruled "Gentlemen Only...Ladies Forbidden"...and thus the word GOLF entered into the English language.

| 10. | Re: Sonic Releases DVD Burning Plug-in for Photo Story 3 Posted by VidGreg on 3/23/2005 4:46:37 PM If this is a one-time project and you wont need multiple stories, then the DVD plug-in should be fine. But, if you think that in the future you'll be doing more DVD burning, then opt for the latest MYDvD product from Sonic.
TDK makes a nice DVD Burner and you might find one that comes bundled with the MYDvD software. Go to Amazon.com and search for DVD writer... Read the user reviews at the bottom to help you decide on a brand and model.
Good luck |

Once your drive is connected, go to the control panel, system, device manager and then right click the properties on your USB Drive. Go to the Policies tab and you will see two options. "Optimize for Quick Removal" and "Optimize for Performance".

| 18. | Re: Has anyone tried mydeo? Posted by VidGreg on 8/8/2005 9:48:30 PM John,
I compared the your Grand Canyon videos on Neptune and one on Mydeo. I have to say that Mydeo plays better hands down... Not only was I able to view the movie at my choice of size, I was able to rewind it when I thought I saw a Moose. It was a deer
Neptune just feels clunky compared to clicking a Mydeo link and having it open in a familiar interface.

| 19. | Re: Has anyone tried mydeo? Posted by VidGreg on 8/10/2005 9:49:14 AM Welcome Iain,
Can you tell me if there is a way to save a Mydeo stream to my local pc for future viewing or editing?
Thanks - Greg |
| 20. | Re: Has anyone tried mydeo? Posted by VidGreg on 8/10/2005 10:39:05 AM That makes sense and also helps to explain to me the benefits of streaming vs. downloading a plain .wmv file. I've done a little reading about DRM. Does your service have, or plan to have, any options that I would be able to set per video via the interface? eg: limit number views.
