| 2. | Re: Movie Maker doesn't support Quick Time Movie Format Posted by Scsifun on 7/24/2005 12:06:50 PM Movie Maker doesn't import QuickTime. If you have the option I would use another camera that outputs AVI clips. QuickTime is a format created by Apple Computer and I'm sure there's a bunch of legal stuff if Movie Maker wanted to handle those file types.
Some Cameras, my Sony for example, output clips to MPEG and they work fine. BUT, I've heard that some users have problems importing MPEGs too.
There are programs that will convert QuickTime to AVI. Use google ... |
| 3. | Re: MyDVD v6.1 - "Transcoding Audio" - application freezes/locks up Posted by Scsifun on 8/3/2005 11:59:49 AM Check out the forums at VideoHelp.com. They straightend me out. I had a problem transcoding and we found out that is was my DVD burner. I returned it to Comp USA for another one and had no more issues.
Good luck |

| 11. | Re: Flash or LiveMotion in MM? Posted by Scsifun on 1/27/2005 4:53:58 PM You would need to convert the Flash file to an AVI and import it into Windows Movie Maker.
Here's an example of a tool that would accomplish this - http://www.winmpg.com/SWF-to-AVI.html
I dont recommend that link, it's just the first result I found from searching "Convert .SWF to .AVI". |

| 15. | Re: Plus Photo Story Posted by ScsiFun on 8/20/2005 6:46:58 PM What I did was bring three songs into Windows Movie Maker and then select save movie(even though I had no video. Movie Maker then saves it as a audio file). It saved the 3 songs as one long song that I then imported into PhotoStory. |
