| 3. | Re: I am new here...want to ask Posted by Poohbear on 8/9/2005 10:35:53 AM The mswmm isnt a video file. That file is the project file. What you'll need to do is open movie maker and on the left click SAVE MOVIE. This will kick off a wizard that will convert your MSWMM project file into a WMV movie. Be sure to pay attention to where the WMV file is saved so that you will be able to locate it later for emailing or publishing.
Good Luck! |

| 7. | Re: An alternative to burning DVDs ... Posted by PoohBear on 7/22/2004 8:34:13 AM There's a link to a nice TDK DVD burner at the top of this page.. $99.00 is a great price for that one and it comes with MyDvD software to burn with....
No mattter where you buy it, make sure you read whether it comes with burning software or not and what the software brand is.. No need to buy a burner and then have to go buy the software too, since most come with it. |

| 12. | Re: I finnaly got done making a video with Windows Movie Maker I need to save it as a MPEG file but for some reason it will only it only let me save it as a "Windows Movie Maker Project" (*.MSWMM). Posted by PoohBear on 8/4/2005 8:50:54 PM yYoure not saving the movie. What that is doing is saving your project file so that if you wanted to quit for the day and continue editing the next you'll be able to continue where you left off.
COMPLETE STEP 3 on the LEFT - YOU MUST use the FINISH the movie.
Under your photo to the left are 3 title steps.
1. CAPTURE / IMPORT
2. EDIT MOVIE
3. FINISH MOVIE
You need to complete step 3 ... |
