You'll need to convert is to a Movie. Search google for "Convert Powerpoint to video" and there should be links like this one - http://www.hexisoft.com/powerpoint-to-video.html

Once it's converted to an AVI or WMV, you can import the video into Windows Movie Maker.

Posted by Kordek on 8/2/2003 9:13:30 PM

I think High Quality is using VBR and might be hosing you... Try saving it as DV-AVI, that's the highest setting.

Check out www.papajohn.org. He has compiled some troubleshooting pages. From what I read it seems like you need to turn down you hardware acceleration. See the problem solving - crashes and hangs section.

21.Re: Movies for Pocket pc
Posted by Kordek on 7/14/2005 9:37:52 AM
I would try Video for Pocket PC 218kbs, but you might be able to do better... Play with a few of the options and see what works best using a small sample file. Also, check www.papajohn.org under custom profiles. Maybe the Creative Zen PMC profile will work.

I thought that Microsoft was working on HighMat technology. Here is a link to some HighMat capable DVD players that should play a WMV file saved using HighMat.
